Head to Helipark this season for the ultimate skiing or riding experience

For the more experienced skiers or riders among you, it’s worth considering a visit to Helipark this 2009 season.

Offering helicopter accessed free riding in 380Ha of incredible backcountry terrain, Helipark allows you pick your own lines and how many runs you wish to challenge. It’s the perfect way to spend a day for free-skiers and riders who wish to train or play in powder.

Helipark access passes start at just $225, which includes your first run. The helicopter flies all day, dropping groups in to different spots. You pay $85 per lift and ski as many or as few of those runs as you wish. You can ski all day or take a break for a leisurely lunch. It’s your day and your budget and you organise it how you wish.

The terrain has been extended this season to include the Cloudy Peak ranges, now accessing previously un-skied territory. Nothing is groomed and access is entirely by helicopter.

Helipark is based at Mt Potts, near Methven in the South Island. For more information, visit www.helipark.co.nz.
